To pour, to drain.

Is it worth it?

Not as bold a missy.

Enclosed- my mental health.

Can I push it? Am I good? Am I real good?

If I could, would I dare?

Hold myself to higher standards.

Is that fair?

Saving to pay a price,

Past due on my toll.

Is this a sacrifice?

Two blinks, I’ve missed life.

I gave myself away.

I poured,

I drained,

Felt love til my heart sang.

I worked it,

It was worth it.

Did you try because you wanted to?

Or because they said you should.

Did you succeed because they said could?

Or because you knew you would?

Are you spent?
